I have decided to use the Jena API to handle working with RDF/XML files. (It seems easy to read and write other formats like N-triples with it too - so maybe I will incorporate that... we'll see)
In order to get to know the API I have started coding little test programs. There isn't much to see yet, but if I make something interesting I'll post it here!
I'm making good porgress with the RDF book. I've also been checking out websites that are using RDF and how they link to it from their pages or embed it within them.
I've also started brushing up on my Java, especially GUI programming. The GUI was something that didn't get done too well on my last project so I'm determined to kick ass in that area this time round!
I've also got various ideas for features and stuff forming in my head. I do already have a few scraps of paper with notes and sketches. I'll start jotting stuff down in a more orderly fashion next week.
Yay! My new RDF book has finally arrived! (Damn those postal strikes!) That means I can continue with my reading!
The project specification is now online!
The Ganesha project's website is launched!
